I’ve been publishing on Substack Notes, and would love for you to join me there!
It has a “Twitter without the hate” feel but no doubt this will collapse over time unfortunately. I’m a fan of substack because it lets people write about what interests them for people who are interested.
Substack notes doesn’t have the word limitations that twitter has, so while the discipline of brevity is important, you don’t end up with clunky threads or having to truncate grammar - or even words to make your point.
In desperation on Twitter I sometimes remove vwls and hp fr th bst.
Not on Substack notes though.
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
I’m particularly interested in new ideas for articles and understanding what readers think and feel about what I think are the big issues of our day. I believe many of my readers know more than me about Chinese Interference and threats to our freedom, but due to their employment or other factors are unable to speak out.
Sending me hints, ideas and corrections would be great.
