Fake Emails and Chinese Communist Party's Smear Campaigns

Drew Pavlou, an Australian human rights activist, was held incommunicado for 23 hours after staging a nonviolent demonstration in front of the London Chinese Embassy.

The embassy of the Chinese Communist Party(CCP)reported him as making a bomb threat through a phoney proton email message,

 ''This is Drew Pavlou you have until 12 PM to stop the Uyghur Genocide or I blow up the embassy with a bomb regards Drew.''

Not long after, Global Times, CCP's propoganda machine, published a long article counting all the 'evil deeds’ committed by white man Drew.

The goal iss to potray Drew as a racist bomber with terrorist tendencies on an ego trip.

The irony is that while presenting Drew’s ‘crimes’, they dare not show the audience what is written on his poster—

'Free Tibet.

Free East Turkestan.

Free Hong Kong.’

The CCP has a long history of intimidating and stifling dissident voices online via bogus emails and other forms of cyberbullying.

In an email from alleged Hong Kong police, three London barristers at Doughty Street Chambers were threatened with extradition to Communist China. 

Their 'crime' is acting as democracy campaigners in Hong Kong.

Sheng Xue is an award-winning Canadian author and one of the world's leading advocates of Chinese democracy.

But if you search for Sheng Xue's name in Chinese, she's described as a liar, a thief, a traitor, and a jerk.

The rumor-mongers manufactured luscious images, such as one showing her kissing a man who wasn't her spouse, to give the allegations credibility.

According to the the New York Times, Sheng Xue's coworkers once showed her the email they had just received with a variety of topless images of her.

But it is obvious that the images are false. Although Qin Jin, another activist, looked to be the sender, Qin said that the email was not from him.

In addition, in 2021, Reuters reported that Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Soreide said that the email system of the Norwegian Parliament was under a cyber attack, and that this attack came from China.

"The March cyberattack compromised the email system of our most important democratic institution," Thurred said in a statement.

The Chinese Communist Party(CCP) is acting like a coward from behind a screen, using filthy yet childish tactics to smear anybody fighting for freedom and helping the suffering Uyghers, Hong Kong demonstrators, Chinese human rights attorneys, and other people who care about these issues.

The regime led by Xi Jinping could go as low as it could and it would not change. However, we need to be aware of these ploys.

These baseless attacks, despite being foolish, are hurtful to the people concerned.

Drew posted early in his tweet,

'I did not deny I had the initial suicidal thoughts. But I would never give up.’

We shouldn't let those advocating for justice endure these bogus allegations. We should establish a community to inform the public and protect the freedom fighters.

We would be able to see what genuine Chinese looks like after the wall in China was down, much like the Berlin one. They would appreciate the work that these activists do and the bravery it takes to stand up to this terrible and cowardly beast.
